Interlinear Bible  ·  www.bible.in.ua

This is an interlinear Bible: the Hebrew, Greek and Latin text of the original with a word beneath the word in Russian, in Ukrainian and in English, together with the parsing of every form, with dictionaries and concordances. The work was compiled by Oleksii Vynokurov, 2002–2026. It is published freely and will remain free.

What is allowed — with no need to ask

One request only: name the source — Oleksii Vynokurov, www.bible.in.ua — and do not pass the translation off as your own.

What is not allowed

To use the text of this interlinear translation and any part of it — including the parsings of the forms, the dictionary entries, the concordances and the data files — for training, further training, fine-tuning or evaluating language models and other machine learning systems. The same applies to including the material in training datasets and in bodies of data derived from them.

The rights to such use, among them the right of text and data mining, are reserved in full — including a reservation in the sense of Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790.

Wholesale automated scraping of the site is likewise not allowed: it loads the server to no purpose. The whole of the material is available as a single archive in any case, and the link to it is on the front page.

What systems with artificial intelligence are allowed to do

The refusal concerns training, not reading. Therefore:

This is not a concession but a calculation: such use brings a living person to the site, whereas training on the corpus brings nobody and strips the work of its name.

The machine-readable reservation

What is set out above is stated in the form a machine reads as well:

robots.txt: Disallow for the crawlers that train models HTTP header: X-Robots-Tag: noai, noimageai

Please observe it. Going round these instructions means a knowing breach of a refusal that has been stated plainly.

Permissions and contact

Any other use is by arrangement with the compiler. Write to me; much can be agreed.
